In September 2007 Budapest hosted the event, in the magnificent Parliament building.
Previous meetings took place in Paris (2003), Dublin (2004), twice in Rome (2005,
2006), and in Madrid (2008). Next year Estonia will be the host, and in 2011 the
Netherlands will provide the location for the forum.
The main topic of this year’s meeting was to review possible tax administration
answers to the global financial and economic crisis. Short term administrative
steps were presented by Spain, Sweden, Austria and Finland.
Leaders of tax administrations of six member states presented the developments
of their recent activities (Estonia, Germany, Italy, Romania, Poland and Hungary)
